Participants in the 2010 Global Scholars Program will participate in service learning projects in Tengeru, a small village near Arusha, Tanzania. We hope to expand the program next year to include other countries, including Haiti.  Our long-term infrastructure projects include the construction of a public library in the village of Tengeru and several clean water projects in other rural villages in the Meru region of Tanzania.
